Health Care

Our goal is to make sure health care is affordable and available to everyone. No matter income, age, or career, we will do whatever is needed to ensure the people of our nation don't have to go broke because of over-priced health care. Our party has recently passed the Affordable Care Act (ACA), and we believe that health care is a right, not a privilege. The ACA has covered 20 million more Americans and made sure that millions more won't be denied coverage because of a pre-existing condition. We will fight to make sure that medical debt decreases and everyone has access to affordable and quality health care.

Food Insecurity

Mr Dales and Mr Russo know that  food insecurity in the United States is very high, and are very willing to raise the money to better the health of Americans. All citizens who do not currently have a steady paying job, will receive food stamps based on the size of their family, once on the list for food stamps Mr. Dales and Mr. Russo will provide a list of jobs, to help make food stamp dependents contributing citizens of the United States. Once a citizen has acquired a job, the government will slowly ween them off of the food stamps. Food stamps will also be risen to $200 per month.

Civil Rights

Discrimination based on race, religion, sexuality, age, disability, income, and gender happens on a daily basis, and we will fight to end it. We, the democratic party, believe that everyone is created equal and entitled to their civil rights. Our party fully supports the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA), the Americans with Disabilities Act, and the Employment Non-Discrimination Act. We will also fight for fair housing, equal pay, and keeping marriage laws at the state level so that there can be no federal gay marriage ban. Also, we support the rights and freedoms of churches and religious beings to decide how to administer marriage without government interference. We will fight against race and religious profiling. Some parts of the Patriot Act could be strengthened so that our individual rights, like the library provisions, are no longer threatened. We will do our best to support our veterans in making sure they are employed and are in good living conditions.
